Hi Babe!
Let me first start off by saying that I am so excited that you are here! Here in this very place thinking, planning, and setting goals for yourself. You started, Congratulations! If we were not talking about budgeting and finding financial freedom, I would tell you to reward yourself with a vacation for that successful effort alone, but a pat on the back will have to do. Now let’s talk about the most crucial part of your next journey- being consistent and finishing this very thing you just started.
The truth is that not starting and not finishing are the two most fatal decisions anyone can make when it comes to reaching any goal. I am here to keep it honest. The shit will get hard. It will feel like living paycheck to paycheck is not a bad idea versus the day you will have to turn down an invite to your favorite restaurant because of your strict budget. The sacrifices you will have to make will be just a big as the debt you are in. But the reward- oh the reward will surely be worth it! Being debt free is attainable and do-able! And I truly believe every person reading this have the potential to be financially free! For being debt-free is the true pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
Looking back on where I am and where I was I know that the most effective tools that helped me to pay off my debt and reach most of my financial goals where keeping a journal, budgeting, and saving. I made the decision to clean up my life after receiving my tax returns one year. For the life of me I could not understand why Uncle Sam said I made decent money, but my account was in the negative saying I owed money. So, I did two things. I got real with myself about what I truly wanted my life to look like and I started taking the necessary steps to get there. The only way I could do that was to create a road map and lay out some tough guidelines and goals so that I could clearly see the shift and the end game. It not only made me financially stronger, but I was mentally and emotionally prepared for my next part of my journey.
There is only one Rule to success.
Rule #1
You have to DO THE WORK in order to complete the mission. At this point you already accepted the mission so there is no turning back.
Have I accomplished all of my financial goals? NO. But the amount of success and the number of doors that have been opened to me once I organized my finances and cleanup my credit was life changing. So now I spend my time teaching others how to avoid the mistakes I made. My mission is to flood my community with financial literacy and my goal is to help others like you align their dreams with reality and pair them with action. All of my financial tools were created with you in mind. I want your journey to be fun, exciting, and rewarding. And it will be if you start today!
